ACTIVITIES

  • Each month, our teachers lead our students in a mini-social action.  Past social actions have included getting involved in our monthly First Sunday Food Collection and collecting towels to donate to local veterinarians.  
  • UUSIS Religious Education program has designated Stamford’s Edgehill Lifecare Retirement Community as our “Social Action” partner.  Several times each year, our students visit Edgehill’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Care residents.  This intergenerational social action program allows UUSIS children (from pre-school through teen) and infirm elderly to interact within a positive environment.   Click here for more pictures of past visits.
