Energy Audit: An energy audit has been completed for the RE building and Sanctuary building. Many thanks to Darek Shapiro for conducting the audit that identified a number of areas where we could reduce our fuel and electricity expenses. The results of the audit are being reviewed with the Board with recommendations on where to invest to get the largest return on investment to reduce our expenses and energy used.
Pennies for the Planet: Pennies for the Planet is a successful nationwide campaign to help critical conservation projects. It’s powered by kids collecting pennies (and nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollars, too!) to help save wild places and wildlife in the United States. The Green Team encourages everyone to support Ethan Fleck in his campaign for this great cause! For more info: www.penniesfortheplanet.org

Fall 2010: Camping Retreat: The Green Team is looking for people who are interested in going on a weekend camping retreat in September 2010. Cabin camping with tent sites available for those who wish to pitch a tent instead. Contact Linda King if interested. | |
